Graze review

Today I got my first ever graze box in the post! I'm so excited because my favourite things in life are subscription boxes and food. The both combined is even better. Also the Christmas design on the box made me feel all festive, so cute. I've signed up for the fornightly box.

Opening the box everything is nicely packaged and SO cute! Each tub has the calorie amount and what's in them, I got a sort of BBQ box I think? They also sent me some £5 vouchers, one of which I'm going to put the code at the end of this review, so one of you lucky devils can try it, I also have some free box codes too that I'll give out.

First in the box was BBQ corn with cashew nuts, these tasted so delicious, anything BBQ flavoured is good with me, they were a little too crunchy for my liking and hurt my teeth a bit but still a tasty snack. Will ate most of these.

I was soooo happy to get pistachios in my box, they are my favourite of all the nuts! Especially when they are BBQ flavoured, although, they just tasted like normal pistachios with a tiny smokey hint, more flavour would have been nice but pistachios are tasty just as they are.

JERKY IN MY BOX!!! Me and Will are Jerky crazy, we buy it fresh from a South African store in town and it is so sexy. This stuff was amazing, so chewy and delicious and the relish tasted like licking the face of god. I want this in every box I get ever. In fact I just want a box full of this stuff all the time!

And last but not least, who can say no to pretzels and chocolate? These were a great way to end the box, a little something sweet, the chocolate sauce wasn't too rich and complimented the poppyseed pretzels like a dream!

All in all my first graze box was a winner, I am excited to find out what they're going to put in the next one I get :D

Here is a little freebie for ONE of you, £5 off your subscription. This is a first come, first served voucher, so congrats to whoever gets to it first :)

And for the rest of you that didn't get the £5 voucher, here is a code to use to get your 1st, 5th and 10th box for free and I get £1 off my next box :) EVERYONE IS A WINNER!

Loot Crate ship to the UK now?!

Hey guys! So I just discovered that Loot Crate have now started shipping to the UK, how freaking exciting is that?!
If you don't know what Loot Crate is, it's a monthly subscription box aimed at gamers and geeks, you pay $29 a month, that includes shipping and I think it works out to around £17, it's a little more than I'd like to pay for a subscription box, but come on, did you see what they put in their October box?

I have three subscription boxes now, this one, glossybox and graze box.
I will be doing reviews on all boxes once they have arrived, I think I've missed the December box for loot crate so I think I'll be getting the January box first. I don't mind the wait.

If you would like to sign up for a box here is a link:  http://mbsy.co/lootcrate/72610

Carrie movie review.

So I just got back from watching the new Carrie movie. I went to the cinema with low expectations, and I'm glad I did. For those of you that know me or have followed me on numerous social networking sites. You will know my hatred for remakes, especialy movies that are close to my heart. Carrie being one of them.
The only remake I have enjoyed lately was The Evil Dead, probably because it was the same guys making a different movie.
I'm going to try and review the movie without spoiling it, not that you can spoil a story/movie that's been out for YEARS!

What was wrong with the movie?
Firstly, Chloe Moretz. This girl is an AMAZING actress, but she was a terrible Carrie. Her looks aren't right for this role and she just didn't blow my mind :( I said she was the wrong choice from the beginning!
Secondly, It was almost a scene for scene remake of the original, with a couple of parts thrown in from the book. I was expecting something different.
Thirdly, and maybe this is me getting old or something, but it's aimed at a completely different generation. I am an 80's horror movie girl at heart and I think I just need to accept that movies aren't made like that anymore, There was also a lack of scares, it all just seemed to kick in 20 minutes before it ended.

What was good about the movie?
Julianne Moore, She owned the part of Margaret and gave me goosebumps everytime she opened her mouth, she was so creepy and guuuuh. I love her.
It was "slightly" closer to the book, if the book was set in 2013.
I don't have many good points to make, although the film wasn't up to scratch but my standards it was still a good Stephen King scare story.
I'm going to rate it 4/10, it's worth one watch, but that's about it.

All opinions in this review are those of my own, please go and see the movie and make your own mind up too :)

Back to blogging!

Hiii!
So after a long break from the shit hole that is Tumblr, I've decided that I want to start blogging again, without putting my whole life on the Internet. So I've made a new blog, where I will be reviewing movies, clothes, make up, Jewellery, skate equipment and whatever else crosses my path!
Small update on life, for those that followed me on tumblr.
Me and Will have our own flat and are still as happy as ever, roller derby is my life and Jersey is amazing!
I'm going to do my first review tomorrow after I've done a haul in town.
